Mike grew up in Redwood City,Ca. where he was surrounded by Classic Rock Legends such as Neil Young, Santana, Greg Allman, The Grateful Dead, The Doobie Brothers, to the Great Blues Giant Johnny Lee Hooker. Mike also has had the privilege to have play with and perform in the same stomping grounds as some of his heroes.
Since 1991 Mike has provided top quality guitar playing and singing of the Acoustic Classics to hotels, restaurants, bars, corporate/private parties,weddings,fairs,events,and winieries from Chico,Ca to Santa Cruz,Ca. Mike is a new resident of SLO county, and taking it by storm, since Mike has been here in June he has been performing in most of the Wineries and Hotels,Restaurants /Bars along with Corporate & private parties. Mike Maguire has established himself as a true troubadour of the ages and will be be a big part of the SLO county music scene for years to come.
Mike's 4 hr. set list provides predominantly Classic Rock,Rock,Blues, but also a flavor of Country,Jazz,Irish,and of course his own material. Mike utilizes his wide selection of songs that are not over played and still appreciated. Continuously working on his craft as you will see, Mike Maguire gives every performance his all. Clearly the passion, and talent shows, and you will always be guaranteed a solid performance.
